I believe that we all have a journey that has led us where we are, with individual challenges and opportunities. Events from the past can leave lasting impacts that lead to feeling disconnected from self or others and difficulties with living authentically. I help clients address the lasting impacts of trauma, and attachment wounds by working with the whole person to assist clients with finding a sense of agency and empowerment.
I am trauma focused, person centered, and collaborative in my approach and want to help with developing insight and curiosity around the internal experience to help people create a healthier perception of themselves to increase empowerment in their lives. I have utilize a variety of approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), sensorimotor psychotherapy, mindfulness based, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to address a range of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, and situational distress.
I am licensed professional counselor, and have been licensed and practicing in Oregon since 2019. I am trained in EMDR, and a certified clinical trauma professional. I work with adults 18 +
