Molly Henderson – Coming Soon
I am Molly Henderson, and I am an LPC with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I have 7+ years counseling clients who are experiencing a multitude of issues including grief and loss, anxiety, and trauma. I work with clients aged 18 to 80 using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Responsive Care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to meet my client’s individual needs and issues. I have experience providing individual and group counseling in clinical and outpatient settings. In my clinical practice, I use a multi-media approach to therapy accessing books, videos, board work, handouts, artwork, mindfulness, and traditional processing to assist clients along their therapeutic journey. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bushnell University (formerly Northwest Christian University) and have over 20 years working in this community as a social services provider.
I am proud to have experience serving clients from a variety of different backgrounds, including survivors of intimate partner violence, change of life, acute mental health issues, parenting, insufficient housing, and many other challenging situations. I absolutely understand that life can get very difficult, and I want to help my clients find their way to wherever they want to go. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and offer services to clients with co-occurring disorders. I offer a welcoming space for individuals to address whatever challenges they may be facing and employ many different techniques to assist them in that process. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I enjoy spending time with my dogs, reading, and exploring the beautiful places our state has to offer.
I cherish the work that I do, and the journeys that my individual clients walk through together with me.
