  • Ashley Brown, LCSW – Coming Soon

I am Ashley Brown, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults seeking support around a variety of therapeutic topics including life transitions and life stressors, chronic illness, disability, caregiver support, grief, anxiety, queer identity exploration, academic and career support, and Hoarding Disorder.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and have 20 years of experience working within the social services field in a variety of environments including residential care, hospital and medical settings, and community-based nonprofits.  Since moving to Eugene nearly 10 years ago, I have extensively worked with clients struggling with dual chronic physical health and behavioral health needs, older adults, caregivers, and health care professionals.

I believe the relationship between client and therapist is the most important part of therapy and therefore my first priority is to provide a safe, supportive, nonjudgemental space. As a therapist, I utilize a strengths-based, person-centered approach to navigating mental health, with an emphasis on exploration, growth, and empowerment.

The treatment modalities and interventions I most frequently use are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and psychoeducation.
