I approach therapy as a collaborative journey and a nurturing space, where you can feel understood and seen. I work with clients to define and achieve their therapy goals, in ways that work best for them. As a trauma-informed therapist, I strive to bring trust, safety, compassion, and unconditional regard to each of my clients, always looking to find and leverage their unique strengths.
I employ an integrated approach, drawing on EMDR, somatic experiencing, internal family systems (IFS), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and behavioral and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) therapies. I draw on these modalities to help clients address trauma, depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation disorder, low self-esteem, grief, management of life stressors, and relational challenges (e.g., parenting issues, family and couples therapy). I specialize in working with chronic and complex trauma, in all the ways that it can impact our sense of self and how we function in the world.
I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and have been licensed and practicing in Oregon since 2018. I am trained and credentialed in EMDR, and have over two decades of experience in evidence-based therapies for at-risk youth and families. I treat children, teens, and adults, from age 10 onwards. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor in Oregon, and provide support to MFTs, CSWAs, and counseling and clinical psychology interns who are working towards licensure.
