Rebecca Alexander, LPC

My name is Rebecca and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked as a Mental Health Therapist for over 10 years with adults, families and children. I work especially well with older adults navigating life transitions, including career changes, caregiving responsibilities, and other adjustments that come with changing circumstances. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment concerns, grief, parenting challenges, and stress management needs.

My approach is individualized and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and CPS. When appropriate, I also utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), including imagery-based techniques, to help clients address specific concerns and build confidence in managing difficult experiences. I value creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly process their thoughts and feelings. I enjoy witnessing clients grow and develop greater understanding, confidence, and resilience as they work toward meaningful change. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. Major coursework included child and family counseling, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and group therapy.
