Welcome to Joyful Living Behavioral Health, your decision to seek out therapy can be a bold adventure to become better functioning, more mindfully aware, and intentionally moving toward your chosen goals. My name is Drew, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor level 2. My expertise is helping clients recover from the effects of depression/anxiety, trauma, adverse childhood experiences and substance use disorders.
You have the perfect right to be treated with dignity and respect. I have been saying and practicing these principles for 32 years. Accurate empathy, positive regard, acceptance, and compassion are therapy skills I deliver in a person-centered way. Your individual treatment plan will reflect your goals towards wellness. My frame-of-reference includes Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Together we will map out a strategy that moves and motivates you to a higher level of functioning.
