Cassandra Buitrón – Coming Soon
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. By visiting this site you are already taking the first step towards engaging in therapy, and I would be honored to join you in your healing journey. My name is Cassandra Buitrón (she/her) and I am an LPC-Associate with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University (graduation year 2018). I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. I have clinical experience working with adults who experience severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) as well as adults recovering from trauma. You don’t need to have experienced either of those things to enjoy a rich therapeutic experience however; you only need to have a desire to show up and see what we can uncover together. I believe all people can benefit from engaging in therapy, and that the client-therapist relationship is vital to
ensuring a rich and rewarding therapeutic experience.
I offer both in person and telehealth appointments. I operate from a conversational, person-centered approach in therapy. I aim to create a space that cherishes and creates safety for members of minority groups and the LGBTQIA+ community including indigenous, Black, POC, women, femme-presenting folks, nonbinary folks, trans people, and queer and
questioning individuals. I believe that recognizing, dismantling, and unlearning white supremacy is a lifelong endeavor that benefits all.
Please feel free to reach out and see if we would be a good match for therapy. I wish you luck on your journey.
